KLEERBAND^® Transparent Flange Protectors

KLEERBAND^® is a quick, easy and highly effective way to apply protection and prevent corrosion of the flanges.

The KLEERBAND^® flange protectors are designed to protect studs and gaskets on raised face and ring type joint flanges from atmospheric corrosion encountered in chemical plants, refineries, gas plants, offshore platforms, onshore oil fields, ships, paper mills and underground pipelines. They are also designed for use on cathodically isolated flanges to prevent foreign matter from shorting out or bridging over an isolating gasket.

Transparent and versatile

The KLEERBAND^® flange protectors are manufactured of extruded PVC. It allows continuous visual inspection of the flange surface without removal of the protector. The polyvinyl chloride used to make this compound, as well as the plasticizers and all of the other ingredients, have been granted approval by the FDA in accordance with regulations.

Maintenance friendly and reusable

All KLEERBAND^® flange protectors are equipped with an exclusive safety relief vent and non‑metallic grease injection fitting that assures complete loading of flange cavities. The moisture‑proof seal can hold up to 0.3 bar of overpressure. In addition, the protectors are non‑corroding, providing many years of service life, and are completely reusable.
